Adventure Sewalong Week 2 - Fabric Pull and First Stitches

This is rather freeing, having the decision making authority taken away!

I chose my inspiration based on a comment on my Instagram Live for a favourite toy. I didn't pick a toy - I don't remember many toys from my childhood - but I did think of a favourite game. Luckily my kids have enjoyed playing it too so I grabbed it from the cupboard. The inspiration was perfect. And my stash is deep enough to grab a good selection of fabrics.

After that decision needed to be made: whether I was going to do a literal translation of the inspiration or simply play with the colours and do something else. Again, I turned to my community on Instagram. They chose a literal translation.

I'm anxious to get sewing after this next decision: something inspired by the cars and the families we put in them when playing the game or something inspired by curves of the road of Life. (So far the latter is winning in the polls.)
