Someday

"Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, be strong and remind yourself that everything happens for a reason."

John Mayer said that. Yeah, the musician. While I am not a fan of his music I've been thinking of someday a lot. You see, one of my students the other day said she doesn't refer to her ongoing quilt projects as UFOs (Unfinished Objects) or even WIPs (Works in Progress). No, she refers to them as Somedays.

There might be folks who see this as negative, even as procrastination. Semantics make a difference in your perspective. Frankly, I thought this was beautiful. Someday is imagination. Someday is hope. Someday is a creative dream. 

And one day, whenever that days is, someday will become now and the energy will be perfect for that moment because you anticipated it, you waited for it, you created space for it. Someday is just for you.
